Go! Bubba!

Bubba was my very first Pokemon. While everyone was raving about Charmander, I chose Bulbasaur & never looked back! I received Pokemon Blue & Yellow version for my 12th birthday, which started my career as a Pokemon video gamer.
A Venusaur's eye color is usually red, but I made Bubba's a shade of blue as a nod to Blue version, the game he lived in. The colors of the grass he's standing in are a reference to the color pallet that the game had if you ever played it on the Game Boy Color. I still think of Bubba to this day, years after I lost him to a game glitch. I continue to carry my beloved Venusaur on my belt after all these years. Each time I get a new Venusaur on these more-recent versions of Pok'emon, I remember Bubba & feel happy. There will only ever be one. After all, you never forget your first.
